Our factory occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters and is positioned 500m from Waigaoqiao harbour at the mouth of the Yangtze River. PROFILE
Shanghai Keyon Marine is a Sino-Australian Joint Venture Company set up in 2003. Our new modern factory specialises in marine steel structures including fabricating RO-RO ramps, car decks, cranes and marine grade stainless steel galleys. Our quality manufactured marine steel structures are all approved by GL, BV, LR, DNV or NK and in 2004 we received the certificate of BV and GL for the building of ship structures.

Working in close cooperation with the MacGREGOR group, well-known in the maritime industry, our operation sells globally to over 6 countries, including, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Italy, Japan, Korea. We are well positioned to enjoy strong future growth, by providing the maritime industry with service and quality whilst strengthening partnerships and cooperations, locally and internationally.
FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT
Shanghai Keyon Marine occupies over 20,000 square meters of area and includes:
- Administrative offices housed in a 1500 sqm building
- Workshop occupying a 10,000 sqm, 26 metre high covered prefabrication area with 4000 sqm concrete slab assembly area and storage.
- Shot blasting and painting area of 1400 sqm.
- Modern computer controlled Plasma Plate Cutting Machine.
- 1 set SWL 50 ton/20m hook height (outer door gantry cranes)
- 1 set SWL 20 ton/20m hook height (outer door gantry cranes)
- 3 sets SWL 20 ton/12m hook height
- 1 sets SWL 10 ton/12m hook height
- 1 400 tonne Hydraulic PressElectronic Data Processing Computerised operations to enable quick processing of information, planning and monitoring of various activities with speed and efficiency.
CAREERS AND TRAINING
Shanghai Keyon Marine and its affiliated companies employs over 200 well-trained and professional staff who include many mechanical and industrial engineers, all with expertise in the maritime industry, specifically shipbuilding and design. All management personnel are university educated and all our welders hold classification issued certificates. To ensure the continuous improvement of our quality and service we encourage and foster the education and training of our staff to broaden their range and improve the standard of skills and training.
